Swedish ice hockey team HV71 celebrates its 40th anniversary!

This past December 10th the game between Swedish ice hockey teams HV71 och Linköpings HC took place. 18884 spectators filled the impressive Elmia Arena, which was constructed by Sport & Evenemang AB - the company that built Europe's largest mobile hockey arena. Material from the product group MonZon Event was used to construct the grandstands and the TV-towers and shone on this festive day.

The fireworks lighted up the night sky, the air was filled with the smell of steaming hot mulled wine and the roasted almonds were delicious this December evening. The game was even from the beginning but Linköping HC won with 1-0 in the prolongation. Despite of the loss and the falling rain, the festive atmosphere was incredible in this unforgettable night of HV71's 40th anniversary as a club.

2011-11-17

As we previously informed,  Gais Bandy chose to build a new grandstand in Heden, Gothenburg, for their first season in the Elite Series. The grandstand, built with componetns from the product range MonZon Event, is now constructed and ready to recieve the first spectators.

Due to the warmer autumn weather, the ice rink couldn not operate in early November and the first home game had to be cancelled. Now however, the ice is functioning properly and the game is rescheduled for Saturday, November 19th.

2011-10-18

This season, for the first time ever, Swedish bandy team GAIS enters in the elite series. On the 2nd of November they will meet IFK Vänersborg at the Heden Arena in Gothenburg. The placement in the elite series meant that the arena had to be rebuilt in order to increase its capacity. The new arena is being constructed at the present and all the grandstands and adjacent constructions are built with MonZon products. There are two grandstands which are 70 meters long each and can fit about 2500 standing spectators. Naturally, safety is very important for MonZon - the delivered products and solutions meet the recently set higher requirements. Alongside one of the grandstands, a 1,20 m long corridor is being built. It is approved by the Rescue Service and will also be equipped with a wheelchair ramp.

Last weekend the STCC City Race took over the Frihamn Peer in Gothenburg and about 10 000 spectators attended the succesful event. MonZon delivered three grandstands for the event - two with seats and one for standing spectators. It was the world premier for the MonZon grandstand with seats. The innovative construction was 120 m long, had about 4000 seats and was equiped with a wide space between the rows so that the seated spectators would not be disturbed when others walk in front of them. We also delivered another grandstand for 500 standing spectators, a bridge under which the cars drove, and the red carpet passage to the VIP-area. The mobile grand stand that will be used during the STCC race in Gothenburg this weekend is in place. The only thing remaining is the fastening of the seats.
