With our unique SCAFFCAD™ tool, 3D models, drawings and material lists can be shared with all relevant project participants via a link showing the contents of Autodesk Viewer. Here, all users can interact around the project by selecting details and adding comments directly to the model.

SCAFFCAD™ is a unique platform that generates 3D visualizations and estimated material lists (BOM) for standard construction of scaffolding and weather protection.

The design tool is fast and easy to use and can be used by anyone without special computer knowledge.

SCAFFCAD™ is specially designed for scaffolding designers and engineers from a scaffolding fitter's way of looking at the actual assembly procedure, which speeds up the design process for complex projects and reduces lead times for our customers.

Users can create detailed 3D models and export material lists (BOM), weights and drawings, for all types of applications - from freestanding and widespread, to temporary bridges and roofs.

SCAFFCAD™ gives users the opportunity to experience scaffolding in virtual reality (VR).

Unlike other VR applications, SCAFFCAD™ can be used with standard screens so that you can experience a “tour” through the scaffolding. Multiple participants can see at the same time and no VR glasses are required!

It is the perfect tool to show a concept model and scaffolding to the customer, so they can discuss solutions and go through the design before it is built.

MonZon SCAFFCAD™ plug-in for Autodesk®

  • Design your scaffolding project from your .pdf or 3D model.
  • Design, construct, calculate and verify the scaffolding and weather protection as a complete construction in accordance with the requirements from the Swedish Work Environment Authority's latest requirements (2013: 4) and the European standards SS-EN 12810-1, SS-EN 12811-1 and SS-EN 16508: 2015.
  • Add snow, live-, point- and deadloads.
  • Add a wind load simulation according to EN-1991-4.
  • Verify the design with the third degree FEM analysis.
  • Get an optimized material specification (BOM).
  • Calculation of working hours.
  • Export 2D and 3D drawings to .PDF, .XLSX, .DWF, .DWG, .IAM and .NWD files.
  • The design can also be easily shared with others via a link. With one click, users can study 3D models, drawings and (BOM) in Autodesk Viewer in a web browser. They can also explore and mark directly in the model and comment on the solution, which can then be reviewed by colleagues or consultants with access to the linked model.
  • Design, construct, calculation and verification can be done for all projects with FRAME®MODULAR LIGHT®MODULAR®, NO LIMIT™PROTECT IT™, BILLBOARD™ and EVENT®.
  • Wind tunnel simulation and all other loads together with Autodesk Robot® make it possible to calculate both scaffolding and weather protection according to EN-1991-4 in accordance with the requirements in EN 16508: 2015.

A user license of SCAFFCAD™ -Design includes a two-day course and certification.
